1. HOW LONG CAN THE GRASS BE?

We recommend a grass length of up to 15 cm. You can find more information about grass length in this article in the journal.

2. HOW DOES THE FRUITS WORK AT MULDEN & BUMPS?

3. WHAT ABOUT FOLIAGE AND ROTTEN FRUITS

Rotten fruit and collected leaves or grass are sorted out using a sorting table* while standing. The optional leaf brush enables effective pre-cleaning of leaves and grass residue.

4. WHICH BOXES CAN I USE?

Compatible with standard boxes (60 x 40 cm) up to a height of approx. 17 cm. The result is a volume of max. 35 L for up to 20 kg of pome fruit.

5. HOW LONG DOES THE BATTERY LAST AND WHAT IS THE CHARGING TIME?

The fruit caterpillar is powered by a 36 V or 48 V battery from the “Silver Fish” series. Depending on the choice of battery (375 - 700 Wh), the battery life varies between 4 and 8 hours on average. Charging possible at any 230 V socket.

6. HOW FAST DOES THE ROLLER TURN

The speed of the fruit caterpillar can be infinitely adjusted with the help of a potentiometer (= speed controller). The pick-up roller rotates up to a maximum of 150 rpm.

7. HOW MANY BOXES CAN I CARRY?

The Silver Fox fruit caterpillar also makes it possible to transport empty crates with the device. These are best placed by the trees and during the harvest you carry an interchangeable box with you.

8. WHY ARE THE WHEELS SO CREW?

Of course we thought about it carefully. Due to the extraordinary, tilted wheel position of the fruit caterpillar in combination with deflectors, damage to fruit caused by the wheels is greatly reduced.
