The Box Ox is a lightweight, practical cart made of wood for the transport of fruit and vegetable crates off-road. With a total weight of only 14 kg, you can transport over 100 kg even in difficult terrain. This puts an end to the tedious task of hauling crates!
1. FOR STANDARD CRATES
The Box Ox is optimized for transporting heavy crates off-road. Standard crates measuring 60 cm x 40 cm snap into the cut-outs in the wooden frame without slipping.
2. LIGHTWEIGHT FOR HEAVYWEIGHT
The Box Ox, made of the best fir wood and powder-coated steel, is a masterpiece of nature and technology: weighing only 14 kg, it maneuvers fruit and vegetables crates with up to 100 kg even through rugged terrain.
3. ONE OR
TWO-WHEELED
The well thought-out wheel fixation enables optimal adjustment to your location: one large wheel for best off-road mobility or two wheels for maximum stability on level surfaces - for example when used in vegetable gardening.
4. JOINT CONNECTION
The extremely lightweight and stiff wooden frame made of knot-free solid fir with high-quality mortise and tenon joints allows flexible handling even with a heavy load.
5. QUALITY UNDER CONTROL
The Box Ox is made in Austria from mostly local raw materials and renewable resources. Through partnerships with local companies, we have quality and delivery capability in our hands.

The Box Ox is based on a traditional one-wheel barrow design, an essential tool on every farm for generations. We have re-thought the traditional model and reinvented it for transporting crates off-road.

In combination with our harvest machine Obstraupe and the sorting table Sortier!, for example, they provide an effective and well thought-out harvest process on your orchard. The Box Ox can be used all year round in the vegetable garden or on the farm.

THE HISTORY
OF THE BOX OX
During our field trails and fruit harvests tests, the ancient wheel barrow from Lukas' farm was always an useful help. Incomparably off-road, lightweight and practical - an indispensable tool on the farm. Only the boxes always slipped off. Thus we knew something like this is needed, but optimized for crates! After many hours of development, numerous prototypes and tests, we are very happy to present the Box Ox.
The Box Ox is the result of a collaboration between Organic Tools and Christoph Buksnowitz from Exergy Lynx. As an expert in wood technology and mechanical engineering, Christoph brings together the worlds of wood and metal with great passion. The Box Ox is produced in small numbers in Upper Austria and is well on the way to becoming a new classic.
