WE CREATE DOWN-TO-EARTH INNOVATIONS FOR COOPERATION BETWEEN PEOPLE AND NATURE. WE BELIEVE IN AN AGRICULTURE THAT SERVES HEALTH AT ALL LEVELS, WHERE FOODS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY GROW IN ABUNDANCE AND THE DIVERSITY OF LIFE IS AT HOME.
DEDICATED TO GREAT SMALL FARMERS
We founded Organic Tools GmbH in Vienna in 2018 and since then we have been investigating what the future of agriculture will look like. Against the background of a resource-intensive and increasingly energy-hungry form of industrialized agriculture, we are pursuing the vision of developing life-friendly solutions and adapted technology for small-scale and sustainable agriculture. As a company, we live cooperative and regenerative management based on the example and on behalf of nature.
MAKE IT EASY
The founding team builds on a visionary spirit of creativity and innovation, in-depth systemic expertise in the food and agricultural sector, a proven instinct for successful products and customer satisfaction, as well as extensive experience in product development, project management and "just getting down to business" to get ideas off the ground.
The founding is closely linked to the development of the nut and fruit harvester "Obstraupe", the first and most well-known product from Organic Tools. After 5 seasons on the market, more than 1,200 fruit trees are in use to help the keepers of "Europe's last forest gardens" with the harvest.
ORGANIC TOOLS GMBH IS MANAGED BY THE THREE FOUNDERS DAVID BRUNMAYR, LUKAS GRIESBACHER AND STEFAN BERMADINGER AS MANAGING PARTNERS.
CHIEF INSPIRATION OFFICER
David is an agroecologist and expert in extensive fruit growing. Even as a child he was able to experience the beauty of his parents' traditional orchard in Upper Austria, but he also got to know the tedious harvest when "obst picking".
After studying at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna (MSc.), he was a consultant and course leader in the fruit team of the Arche Noah association. David has a passionate sense of possibility and is brimming with ideas. At Organic Tools, he focuses on the vision, knocks out slogans and pays attention to the strategic direction.
CO-FOUNDER, MANAGEMENT, CUSTOMER SUCCESS
Due to his academic background in agricultural sciences and social ecology (Mag.), he already dealt intensively with questions of land use change and sustainability during his studies.
In his role at Organic Tools, Lukas takes care of sales, is in contact with customers and partners and makes sure things are running smoothly. Lukas always has user benefits in mind and critically checks product developments for practicality with his own "Lu-proof" seal of approval.
After studying mechanical engineering at the Vienna University of Technology (DI), Stefan worked in product development for several years, first in the development of an innovative beverage closure system (xOlution) and then at Heliovis, where he was responsible for the technical management of development in the company.
At Organic Tools, Stefan makes sure that ideas get down to earth and that quality-tested products can be sold at the end of the day.
As an attentive Excel queen, Katrin manages projects, structures workflows and company processes, is in contact with customers and contributes her diverse skills and experience in sales.
After studying agricultural sciences (DI) with a focus on marketing and organic farming, she dedicated herself entirely to public relations for organic farming and horticulture. Most recently, she worked for the ARCHE NOAH association in Schiltern for 10 years. In her private life she is a passionate gardener and is looking forward to the upcoming new developments from Organic Tools.
MARKETING UND COMMUNICATION
Even as a child, Jewi developed a special love for nature in her homeland of Kyrgyzstan, the homeland of our cultivated fruit species like apple, walnut and many more. After a voluntary ecological year in the Wetterau in Germany, her path led from training as an industrial clerk to studying agricultural sciences in Giessen.
Before joining Organic Tools, she worked in the marketing department of an international group and as a freelancer in the field of media services and photography.
PRODUCTION AND LOGISTICS
After agricultural school, Peter completed an apprenticeship as a machinist. His passion for shoes meanwhile brought him to his second job as an orthopedic shoemaker and product developer for cross-country ski shoes in top-class sports.
In product development there are many technical challenges to be solved, the idea of combining technology and sustainability ultimately led him to Organic Tools. With his own orchard on the doorstep at Lake Attersee and the further processing of the fruit, Peter also knows what the whole thing is about.
