OF THE FRUIT HARVESTER
We have packed the combined experience of 7 years of development and thousands of tons of fruit harvested into a new series. The 5th series of the fruit harvester OBSTRAUPE comes in two ways: Firstly, as established, with an e-bike battery and electric motor and secondly - now new - drill powered. The 2 versions are compatible with each other, so you can also buy and replace the drive module later. Both models are suitable for standard boxes of up to 18cm. Practical folding boxes are available as standard for even better work processes. The new, optimized grass wrap protection now comes with a sharp blade.
The OBSTRAUPE is a fruit harvesting machine that collects fruit and nuts quickly and carefully and meets the specific requirements of orchards and their farmers. A simple, effective and well thought-out innovation in the tradition of a "good tool".
1. GENTLE TO FRUIT
Flexible fins on the collection roller brush fruits and nuts gently off the meadow and push them into the fruit crate over a guiding plate - with a pick-up capacity of up to 1,000 kg / 2,200 lbs in one hour!
2. SMART LEAF BRUSH
Fruit and nuts pass the leaf brush in flight, leaves and grass get caught and fall back onto the meadow through the gap.
3. SUITABLE FOR UNEVEN TERRAIN
The fruit harvester maneuvers easily even through dense tree stands, picks fruit even out of hollows or from the base of trunks, while harvesting both forwards and backwards.
4. COMPACT
With only 33 kg / 73 lbs the harvest machine can be folded up and lifted easily alone or in twos, and even transports neatly in the trunk of a car.
5. BATTERY POWER
With 700 Wh power (48V - 14.5 Ah), the e-bike battery provides consistently high performance for a great harvest day of approx. 4 - 6 hours and can easily be removed and charged at any 230V socket.

THE OBSTRAUPE
Our fruit harvester was developed for the real demands of diverse orchards and is successfully in action in over 1000 farms since 2018. The battery-powered harvester is ideal for tree stocks with an annual harvest of up to 30 tonnes of pome fruit. But we not only collect apples and pears, but also sweet chestnuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, stone fruit and even exotic fruits such as Cashew.

THE PRICE
OF THE OBSTRAUPE
With a purchase of the Obstraupe you invest in a happy harvest without back pain, so it pays off from the first day. The investment pays for itself after 1-2 years - depending on the fruit price and harvest volume (10-25 t pome fruit at 30-10€/dt) and the Obstraupe will serve for many years. The costs for ongoing operation are marginal for the battery device. The cost of the machine is the set Obstraupe with Sortier! at approx. 4€/h, with comparable devices from the competition at approx. 25€/h (source: oekl.at).
